One ledger with material re exhibitions, 1850 and 1851. Programs, a prospectus, and regulations are glued to first pages. A note at the beginning reads: "The contents of this Book have been collected for the use of those who may hereafter be charged with the laborious task of superintending the exhibitions of this institution . . . Some of the speeches have been written by the teacher, some by the students, and some selected from books . . ."
Contains three notebooks: "Notes on Epistemology by Rev. John Toohey, S.J." (copyright date 1917, 1915, and 1925, with handwritten date of January 1930); "Notes on Psychology and Natural Philosophy, Senior Class", 1930; and "Outline of the Philosophy of Education: Pedagogy as a Science", no date. All three books have the name "William G. McEvitt" written on their covers.
